The Clearing

Christian Spiritual Formation is being formed into the likeness of Christ, and in this process we open our hearts to God to experience a deeper connection with Him. This process is like a journey where we are active participants with God. Throughout every terrain and season of life, He is continually inviting us into a relationship with Him where we are learning who He has created us to be. There are difficulties in this journey though: obstacles, walls, thickets and brambles that crowd our way. They may be old ways of thinking, lies that we’ve believed, wounds, the distractions of technology, the busyness of life, or other pressures from society and culture. The Clearing is a chance to come together in community to clear the distractions and intentionally devote time to cultivating in our lives the things that Jesus modeled in His. It’s a time of conversation, practical training, and community. Whether you are single or married, a student or in a vocation, a pastor or laity, you are invited to the Clearing.
